Hi, I'm Paweł Basiak. I'm a frontend engineer working mostly with React and TypeScript. I started with websites for clients and later moved into SaaS product teams.
What I do
At Kognia, I work on a football analysis platform. Before that, I worked on marketing applications at Acoustic and GetResponse. I like being involved in deciding what to build as well as writing the code.
Outside work
I play Age of Empires IV, which led me to build AoE4 Foundry to test build orders. I'm also interested in 3D printing, hardware, and using AI tools in development.
This site
I started Devpebe as a frontend blog in Polish. I now write in English and use the site for smaller notes and tools too. The older posts are still in the archive. I recently moved from WordPress to Astro so I could work on the site with the tools I use every day.
